BIF provides support for innovative projects on a returnable basis, including:
- scientific research, experimental design and experimental technological work,
- work on organizing and mastering the production of technical products,
- venture projects.
BIF finances innovative projects on a repayable basis and on preferential terms:
- for the use of funds, interest is charged in the amount of 0.5 of the refinancing rate of the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus,
- funds are allocated for a period of up to 7 years with the possibility of deferred payment for a period of up to 2 years,
- loan insurance and deposit are not required.
